Harrisonville Route 291

Landworks Studio facilitated a design workshop to determine priorities and design direction for a new Diverging Diamond Interchange located on US 291 and US 71.  Working with the committee, it was determined this was a key entrance to the City of Harrisonville and the design is representative of a new front door.  The design pulls in elements from Harrisonville’s historic Fire Order No. 11 and the newer developments and improvements within the City.  The finished design included bridge design and artistic elements, an entry monument on US 291 including pavement design and landscaping.
